The DACH region has become the centre for European cyber security in recent years, in large part due to the region’s rich history in combining new digital technologies with industrial ingenuity, all while maintaining a strong focus on security and data protection.
In contrast, we are in the midst of a continental shake up in cyber security. There is a dire shortage of cyber security specialists, driving up labour costs. Rising geopolitical tensions are emboldening state-backed malicious actors. AI automation and other emerging technologies are continually uprooting long-standing industry norms. EU regulation and legal noise continue to push for higher and higher security standards, all while an economic downturn leaves resources stretched thin.
Despite increasing cyber awareness, there is still a shortage of good cyber hygiene. Supply chains lack cohesion and third-party risk leaves chinks in the cyber armour. Implementation of zero-trust and incident response plans also continue to lag behind.
To address this, #DACHsec Cyber Summit returns to Frankfurt in April with an highly interactive format featuring dynamic panel discussions, engaging roundtables, group discussions, insightful case studies, and thought-leadership talks designed to hone your cyber security skills. Welcoming leading cyber security experts from across the region’s Banking & Finance, Automotive, Retail, Transport & Logistics, Pharmaceutical industries and more, this is your opportunity to discuss, debate, and share best practices to enable greater resilience.
All sessions will be in English.
