The ECSO Cyber Solution Days are back with a brand new edition organised together with Women 4 Cyber and Cyber Ireland, which will take place on the 25 September 2024 at the Cyber Ireland National Conference 2024 in Kilkenny, Ireland.

The goal of this event is to enable a tailored setting for CISOs and corporate leaders to meet and spark connections with some of Europe’s most eminent cybersecurity providers. Join us in Kilkenny to interact with stakeholders from the European Cybersecurity Community and take part in the exchange of information and ideas on the following key topic in cybersecurity today:

CISOs, why should you join us?

The ECSO Cyber Solution Days are designed to address the everyday needs and challenges faced by CISOs. This event offers an unmissable opportunity to discover the latest cybersecurity solutions and products and learn about new tools on the market to make informed security decisions. CISOs will also have the chance to network with peers and discuss products and solutions with a focus on Identity & Access Management, or Cloud Security, topics identified as key priorities via a survey conducted by Cyber Ireland.

Calling European Scale-ups and Large Growth Companies!

Cybersecurity companies that have developed innovative solutions or products in the areas of Identity & Access Management, or Cloud Security, are encouraged to apply to pitch in this event. This is your opportunity to  demonstrate your expertise and share your insights with an audience of enthusiastic cybersecurity buyers and market participants (such as CISOs, integrators and investors).

Application process

To be considered for the event, the company should provide a 13-slide pitch deck to illustrate how it meets the selection criteria.

• Europe-based companies – The company must have its main headquarter in Europe and a minimum 51% European Capital in the ownership structure.
• Pitch decks shall be sent to victoria.cristiano@ecs-org.eu and zarah.rios@cyberireland.ie (pdf, 1MB size) before 22 July COB.
• Upon meeting the criteria, up to 10 companies will be selected to present their solutions and products at the event.

Selection criteria for cybersecurity providers to be included in the pitch deck

1. Both  product and service providers in the area of Identity & Access Management or Cloud Security – no re-sellers or integrators (but representatives of those categories are very welcome to join the event)
2. Description of the solution/product matching the theme of the event.
3. Use case example.
4. List of the main clients.
5. List of certifications (if applicable).
6. Data residency/sovereignty information – demonstrate to show where the users’ data is stored).
7. Security practices – demonstrate how the company ensures its infrastructure security and implements security assessment.
8. Integration potential – demonstrate how well the company’s solution can integrate with IT frameworks and other cybersecurity products.
9. Ease of deployment – demonstrate how quickly the solution can be deployed and how many resources are needed.
10. Maintainability – showcase how many resources are required to monitor the solution, how solution maintenance is implemented and if it require hiring people or involving third parties in its maintenance.

Additional information to be included in the pitch deck:

1. Size of the company – in terms of staff numbers (Full-time equivalents/FTEs).
2. Annual turnover – in euros, or converted in euros. 
3. How long is the company on the market.

ECSO’s CISO Choice Award

The two best cybersecurity companies participating in the Irish edition of the Cyber Solution Days will be nominated to compete for the ECSO CISO Choice Award in early 2025. Nominees will be selected by a local Judging Panel composed of CISOs, carefully evaluating the pitches and nominating the two best companies to take part in ECSO’s Award Finals Event, which will happen in 2025. During the final ceremony, nominees from the ECSO Cyber Solution Days series will pitch to a European Judging Panel and will have a unique opportunity to present themselves to leading market players and buyers in Europe.

Women4Cyber Entrepreneurship Award

ECSO and the Women4Cyber Foundation joined forces to acknowledge and celebrate women leaders in the cybersecurity field, as well as companies that are actively working towards achieving gender equality. This collaborative effort aims to shine a spotlight on the invaluable contributions of women in cybersecurity while promoting and supporting organisations that prioritise diversity and gender balance.
