Competa Crypto-Agility Platform

Description

Competa’s Crypto-Agility Platform helps organisations discover where cryptography is embedded in their software and prepare for the transition to quantum-safe cryptography.

The platform uses deterministic source-code and dependency analysis to identify cryptographic algorithms, libraries, certificates, signing and encryption patterns, key-management references and other crypto-relevant evidence.

It converts this evidence into a structured cryptographic inventory, a prioritised human-review queue and practical decision support for security leaders, software owners and engineering teams. Outputs include migration exposure, recommended review actions, a phased migration roadmap and suggestions for improving future crypto-agility.

The reporting methodology is aligned with the Dutch PQC Transitie Handboek and supports the initial inventory and planning stages of post-quantum migration.

AI is not used to detect, classify or assess findings. The deterministic scan results remain the source of truth, and all findings require human review. The platform provides decision support rather than security certification or an automated assessment of post-quantum readiness.

The platform is currently being validated through a project supported by the Dutch Cybersecurity Innovation Fund (CIF-NL). Participating organisations can nominate a publicly available repository, receive a confidential Crypto-Agility Inventory Report and join a follow-up working session to discuss the results.

The current validation is delivered from a Competa-managed private-cloud environment and analyses only publicly available repositories. It does not require access to private code, production systems, operational data or secrets.
