The Institute for Competitiveness (I-Com) is organizing the annual public conference of the I-Com Observatory on Cybersecurity entitled “Competitiveness at the Trial of Cybersecurity. Cybersecurity in Italy and Europe between Innovation and Rules” scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 4, in Rome, at the Chamber of Deputies (Sala Matteotti, Piazza del Parlamento 19), from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
The event-at which the director general of the National Cybersecurity Agency Bruno Frattasi, among others, has confirmed his participation-will focus on the challenges and opportunities related to cybersecurity in Italy and Europe within a context of increasing digitization. At the center of the discussion will be cybersecurity policies in the new European legislature, with a focus on the NIS2 directive and Italy's strategy for protecting critical infrastructure through the National Security Perimeter. An additional focus of inquiry will address how innovation and regulation can converge to strengthen the competitiveness and digital resilience of our country and the European Union.
