Description

ThreatBay® is a CTI platform that moves information security from reactive defence to a targeted, proactive and informed intelligence-led cyber resilience.

The growing complexity of cyber-attacks demands new skills, methodologies and tools. New capabilities are needed to understand the impetuses, intents, characteristics and methods of new attacks, in order to predict and respond to these attacks. Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) is an emerging approach that promises to provide refined information that help to detect looming threats and alleviate the exposure of organization of these threats. 

This is why SAMA PARTNERS has developed ThreatBay® – a CTI platform that integrates all existing and new threat intelligence sources and feeds for organizations to build a base for Cyber Threat Intelligence. ThreatBay enables a sector-tailored Cyber Threat Intelligence sharing in a consumer centric approach, accelerating the collection and sharing of AI- and ML-assisted CTI and supporting a fuller situational awareness and rapid reaction. Timely and relevant CTI accelerates detection by providing threat hunting complementary to monitoring and detection activities.

CTI is mainly based on two pillars: Evidence-based knowledge and proactivity. Evidence-based knowledge includes context, mechanisms, indicators, implications and actionable advice, about an existing or emerging menace or hazard to assets that can be used to inform decisions regarding the subject’s response to that menace or hazard. Proactivity means moving beyond the technical details of the attack (the what, when and where) towards a better understanding, and attribution, of the tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) behind the attack (the modus operandi or how) and, critically, the attackers themselves (the who and why). 

ThreatBay® places cyber threats in context and, through greater situational awareness, better informs the countermeasures. In this way, through better understanding, ThreatBay can move information security from reactive defense to responsive, proactive, intelligence-led cyber resilience.
